USDA organic survey deadline Feb. 5
Farmers have until Feb. 5 to complete the United State Department of Agriculture’s organic agriculture survey.
Responses provide important, detailed, unbiased information to help determine the impact of certified organic production at the state and national levels.
Information gathered will be used at all levels of government, government agencies, agriculture organizations that lobby state and local governments, Extension agencies, and scientists. The USDA Risk Management Agency uses the data to evaluate and establish crop insurance programs for organic producers.
