Tilth Alliance has raised nearly $5,000 of its $7,500 goal to benefit the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands, a 10-acre farm located in southeast Seattle.
“The funds raised by this campaign will help us grow and share organic food, provide education to hundreds of youth and adults, and keep the farm a welcoming, educational space for everyone in our community to enjoy,” said Kevin McAleese, communications manager for Tilth Alliance

in an email.
Staff works year-round to teach organic farming, environmental education, care for farm and wetlands and create a safe, welcoming environment, McAleese said.
