Beer purchase at Seattle restaurant helps farmers markets
Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets is hosting a fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30 and Watershed Pub and Kitchen in Seattle's Northgate neighborhood. A percentage of beer, provided by Tacoma's Odd Otter Brewery, purchased during the two-hour block will support the mission of Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets.
The evening is a great way to meet market neighbors, support the mission of farmers markets and eat local food.

Bellingham hosts annual Tilth Conference in November
The annual Tilth Conference takes place Nove. 16 through Nov. 18 in Bellingham.
The three-day event provides more than 20 workshops. Topics include developing a coordinated response to flood relief, website strategies for farm businesses, and farm transition beyond the family.
Two farm walks are scheduled. One will take place at Steensma Creamery in Lynden and the second at Sky Island Farm in Everson.
