Farmers markets rally around vendor who lost their home
Three farmers markets are rallying around a Seattle couple whose home was damaged due to a fire.
Sam and Sarah Lucchese, who operate Vespucci Pizza, Pasteria Lucchese and La Crespella, saw their home damaged by a fire in early June. The conflagration destroyed their food production kitchen, according to multiple news reports.
They are vendors at farmers markets at Queen Anne, Ballard, and Remond. Organizers are getting the word out about the Lucchese family situation.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established to raise money for the Lucchese where nearly $56,000 has been raised.
